Lisa Pryor, M.Ed., recently joined the University of Oklahoma
as TA Associate for the South Central Comprehensive Center
and Project Manager for EDUTAS
. Prior to OU, she served as the Managing Director of State & District Engagement for the National Center on Time & Learning in Boston where she designed, developed and delivered grant- and contract-funded technical assistance and professional learning opportunities for districts and schools in Rhode Island, Colorado, Maine, Hawaii, and Mississippi, and was a lead TA provider and coach for the Ford Foundation-funded multi-year, multi-state TIME Collaborative initiative in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Colorado and Tennessee. Pryor served four years as the Oklahoma State Department of Education Assistant State Superintendent for Innovation, Support and Alternative Education where she managed an $85 million budget. Previous OSDE service included work with the Oklahoma Learn & Serve, 21st
Century Community Learning Centers, and Community Education programs while also serving as the state’s director of the National High School Civic Engagement Initiative. She taught middle and high school social studies and history for Norman Public Schools.
